Curator- Wana Udobang - I have this strange belief that my real name should be Gypsie Rose. I consider myself an awesome cook,a poet,  a lover of all things art, culture and chiffon, a romantic, an arm chair philosopher,Betty Boo obsessed and pleasant bag of contradictions.

Co-Curator- Tahirah A - I’m Tahirah Abdulazeez, a scientist of sorts and a burgeoning writer. I can be mawkish and hyper serious and I am incorrigibly flawed, but I make no apologies and offer no explanations, just that the truth matters more than anything else

 

Submission

Our criteria are probably best assessed by a close reading of our website. We focus mainly on Interviews, fiction, poetry, memoir, reviews, features, photo essays, essays and cultural musings, though we lean towards the interesting, unusual and experimental.

We have no set maximum length for submissions. Most of our submissions are between 600- 2,000 words. There is no minimum length.

Guerilla Basement holds exclusive right to your material for 3 months. Should your work be published elsewhere afterwards, we would like to receive acknowledgement

Submissions should be made by email.

We aim to respond to submissions within a month of receipt.
